Now I am just a student most of the way through my university degree - which is admittedly viola performance, and not animal psychology - but I own three parrots and a canary, and have my own personal opinions and experiences on keeping birds as pets. I have also owned and worked with horses, cats, and dogs throughout my life, and have a solid, basic understanding of operant conditioning and behavioural science.
